Gateways Rehabilitation strives to ensure that we provide individualized, patient-centered approach to care with our state of art technology and resources. Our goal is to help our patients regain their highest level of independence and when possible, return to their home and community. We ensure that our rehab gym is fully staffed with an on-site Director of Rehabilitation and a highly qualified team of rehabilitation professionals. We provide additional support through our Regional Directors and Area Managers. Patient satisfaction is our foremost priority.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans to provide ongoing assessments to individuals with deficits in transfers, mobility, strength, coordination, balance, range of motion, ambulation and endurance. Treatments may include pain management, wound care, fall prevention, modalities, splinting and neuromuscular re-education.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans including ADL retraining, self-feeding, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, laundry, financial management, safety & cognitive training, transfers, balance, positioning & pressure relief, urinary incontinence re-training.

SPEECH THERAPY

Evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans and ongoing assessment to individuals experiencing speech, language, voice, and swallowing difficulties addressing communication, cognition and dysphagia deficits due to complex underlying diagnoses.

IN-HOME CLINICAL SERVICES

Mobility is an important part of being able to stay in your own home. If you’re in need of skilled therapeutic services, we can provide you with highly trained professionals who will work with you to achieve your goals. You will be provided with general therapeutic exercises for ortho/neuromuscular development and improvement in balance, gait and transfers. Therapists teach family members to assist in exercises and offer guidance in obtaining and using appropriate adaptive equipment.

Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA) Training

We provide comprehensive training in the rehabilitative process to become RNA’s. It is a class that describes the rehab team, detailed instruction on the various conditions which affect rehab residents, and the basic care and specialized handling procedures that facilitate resident recovery and maximize caregiver efficiency.
